Snohomish, WA& The annual City Wide "Spring Clean-Up in Snohomish" is Saturday April 4, 2009, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Spring Clean-Up is a cooperative partnership event sponsored by the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce, City of Snohomish, Works/Facilities departments, Snohomish Lions, Snohomish Kiwanis and Tillicum Kiwanis.

 

Community residents, students and all service organizations are invited to join with these groups for a day of clean up in City Parks, along city streets and at City entrances.  This project qualifies to fulfill school community service hour requirements.  Beginning at 8:00 a.m., you are encouraged to bring gloves,  a rake and shovel to the Waltz Building, 116 Avenue B, where you will receive a clean up assignment.  The Snohomish Kiwanis and Snohomish Lions clubs will provide lunch for all clean up volunteers at the Waltz Building from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

 

On Spring Clean up day, Snohomish Residents can bring bulky items, construction debris, yard waste, household waste, and recyclable metal items to the Snohomish City Works Yard, 1801  First Street, - 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Household appliances will also be collected, please check the City of Snohomish website for instructions and fees that may apply, www.ci.snohomish.wa.us, this information will also be available at www.cityofsnohomish.com.
